Individually Quick Frozen to preserve freshness, they are an easy freezer staple for cooks who believe the best meals begin with good ingredients — and that every part of the fish has something to offer.
Origin: New Zealand
Weight: 400–500g per pack
Product Highlight
- Of our four salmon varieties, NZ King Salmon is the richest and most buttery — Canadian Chinook is rich & clean, Chilean Coho mild & delicate, and Wild Alaskan Sockeye leaner & more pronounced.
- A nose-to-tail cut rich in natural oils and collagen — the foundation for deeply savoury stocks and broths.
- Sustainably farmed at Mt. Cook Alpine Salmon in New Zealand and Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) Certified, reflecting responsible aquaculture practices.
- Naturally rich in Omega-3 fatty acids.
How We Love It
Place the salmon bones in a pot with onion, ginger, garlic and a few slices of lemon to make stock. Cover with water and gently simmer for 40–60 minutes, skimming occasionally. Strain the broth and enjoy it simply with noodles, greens and a drizzle of sesame oil — or use it as a rich base for soups, sauces and rice dishes. Or slow-bake the bones in olive oil and black pepper on fan mode for 60 minutes to crisp them into salmon bone crackers.
