Raised in the pristine, cold waters of New Zealand, our King Salmon is farmed under strict, certified aquaculture standards designed to safeguard marine ecosystems and support long-term ocean health. Unlike conventional salmon farming, these salmon are cultivated in extremely low-density sea pens, allowing for natural water flow and significantly reducing environmental impact. Farms operate under internationally recognised sustainability programmes that closely regulate feed sourcing, waste management, and water quality — ensuring that farming practices do not pollute the surrounding seas.

Ideal water temperatures and strong ocean currents contribute to the salmon’s superior taste, texture, and consistency, setting it apart from freshwater-reared alternatives. Each fish is closely monitored and hand-fed across multiple cages, with no hormones or antibiotics used at any stage of farming.

Harvesting takes place up to six times a week, and freshness is treated as non-negotiable. From ocean harvest to plate, the salmon reaches us within 24 hours, preserving its natural flavour, firmness, and nutritional integrity. In the event of excess supply from our weekly orders, salmon is  blast frozen from fresh at peak condition, allowing it to be kept frozen for up to six months without compromising quality.
