A complex wine from the Salitage vineyard in Pemberton showing a subtle and deft approach in the winery to enhance the excellent fruit qualities.
Whole bunch pressed with 30% wild yeast in oak before a four month stay in oak with weekly lees stirring. It’s enabled the nectarine stone fruit character to emerge with a slight lemon curd edge.
The palate is rich but with a fine precise acidity that helps define it through to its long finish.
Note: There is lots of parking at Coronation Plaza which is 1 minute walk away or in the streets surrounding, there is also parking directly outside the shop if you are lucky to get one.
