Ocean Code (The Fishwives Digital Gift Card) — Terms & Conditions
1) Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the purchase, delivery, and use of the Ocean Code (The Fishwives Digital Gift Cards). By buying or using a Gift Card, the purchaser and/or recipient agree to these Terms.
2) Definitions:
- Purchaser: the person who bought the Gift Card.
- Recipient: the person to whom the Gift Card is sent when “I want to send this as a gift” is used.
- Balance: the monetary value available on the Gift Card.
3) Purchasing & Delivery
- Digital only: Ocean Code (Gift Cards) are issued electronically and delivered by email.
- Timing (mandatory placeholder date): You must select a delivery date at checkout for system purposes. Regardless of the date selected, the Gift Card is issued and emailed immediately upon successful payment.
- Didn’t receive it? Please check All Mail, Spam, or Promotions folders.
Security: The gift card code can be shared; anyone with the code can use it. Keep it secure. - Unique code: Every gift card purchased is issued with a unique code.
4) Ocean Code Value, Currency & Pricing
Ocean Codes are issued in Singapore Dollars (SGD). Choose your preferred Ocean Code value and enjoy the following savings:

The discount is applied when the Ocean Code is purchased. The Ocean Code’s full stated value will be available for redemption after activation.
Full value credit: The full denomination can be accessed using the code sent to your email address.
No fees: No activation or maintenance fees apply.
5) Balance and Usage
- The remaining balance on the digital gift card can be checked with the email the gift card details are sent to you (the same email with the gift card code).
- Digital gift cards can be used multiple times until the balance is depleted.
- Purchases exceeding the available balance on the digital gift card will require the difference to be paid using another payment method.
- Activation: The Gift Card activates upon successful payment and issuance.
Any remaining balance expires at the end of the validity period.
6) Purchase Restrictions & Store Credit:
- Ocean Code (The Fishwives Digital Gift Cards) cannot be purchased using store credit, either in full or as part-payment.
- Purchases of Ocean Code do not earn store credit, regardless of the payment method used.
- Ocean Code is not cash and cannot be exchanged or converted into cash.

If an order is cancelled or refunded, any ocean code balance awarded in connection with that order may be reversed.
7) Activation &Validity
Activation: Ocean Code (Digital Gift Card) activates upon successful payment and issuance.
Validity: The validity period begins on the activation or issuance date and varies according to the Ocean Code value purchased:

Any unused balance must be redeemed within the applicable validity period.
8) Redemption & Usage
- Where to use: Redeemable online at www.thefishwives.com
- Partial use: If a purchase is less than the Gift Card balance, the remainder stays on the card until expiry.
- Top-ups: Gift Cards are not reloadable.
9) Ownership & Verification
Once issued to the recipient, the Ocean Code is intended for that recipient’s use. Requests to locate or replace a Gift Card are subject to verification of ownership and the remaining balance. We may request the original order number, purchaser or recipient email address, and proof of purchase.
10) Returns, Refunds & Chargebacks
- Non-refundable: Purchased Gift Cards are final and cannot be refunded, exchanged for cash, or converted back to the original payment method (except where required by law).
- Orders paid with Gift Cards: If a return is approved, any refund is re-issued as Gift Card balance to the original recipient’s Gift Card (or a replacement Gift Card), unless required otherwise by law.
11) Security, Lost Codes & Replacement
Keep your Ocean Code and the email containing it secure. Anyone with access to the code may use the available balance.
If you lose your Gift Card email or code, please contact our Customer Service Team via WhatsApp at +6588090938 The Fishwives cannot retrieve the full original Gift Card code from its administrative system.
Please allow 7 business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Singapore public holidays, from receipt of all required verification information for us to locate the Gift Card record, verify its remaining balance and issue a replacement.
Once verified, the remaining unused balance will be transferred to a new Gift Card and the original Gift Card will be deactivated. The replacement Gift Card will retain the original expiry date; replacement does not extend its validity.
Replacement is subject to successful verification. Only the remaining unused, unexpired balance can be transferred.
12) Fraud, Errors &; Misuse
The Fishwives reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or hold any Gift Card and/or order in cases of suspected fraud/abuse, if a card was mistakenly issued in an incorrect denomination, or for other policy violations. We may require additional verification before honoring a Gift Card.
13) Changes to These Terms
The Fishwives may amend these Terms at any time. Updates take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of a Gift Card after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

15) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or relating to Gift Cards shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
