Western King Prawns (Melicertus latisulcatus) are wild caught in the Spencer Gulf, South Australia.
(Eastern King Prawns (Melicertus plebejus) are wild caught in Queensland and will be substituted when Western King Prawns are not available.)
The prawns are peeled and packaged in our Adelaide Factory.
The King Prawn has a superb sweet taste and has firm but delicate flesh, which makes it perfect for sashimi.
