Amisfield Pinot Noir ~ Central Otago NZ
Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine ~ “….it’s a juicy mouthful of cherry fruit and gently spicy oak, tannins slide out through the finish and acid holds fresh. Aromas run to the plum and dark cherry end of the spectrum and have an edge of wild mountain herbs – the oak’s bedded in nicely."
Winemaker’s tasting notes ~ “The wine is deep ruby in colour with complexity of aroma – dark cherry, plum, violets, mocha and spice. The supple palate shows lush dark fruits overlaying seamless velvety and chewy tannins. The finish is long, focused and complex. A special wine, will cellar for 8-10 years.”
