Moreton Bay Bug Meat (Bay Lobster) 200g+/- Noosa Seafoods - WILD CAUGHT - FROZEN
Sustainably Wild Caught Moreton Bay Bug Meat 200g.
Moreton Bay Bugs are a species of slipper lobster caught off Queensland's coastline. Despite their alien-like appearance —broad heads, flattened antennae, and no claws— they are an absolute classic Aussie seafood & the meat is equally at home served atop picnic bbq tables and fine dining white tablecloths alike.
Also known as balmain bugs, butterfly fan lobster, slipper lobster or flip-flop lobster, Moreton Bay Bugs are considered a species of “least concern” by conservationists, the sweet, white, lobster-like meat is considered a true delicacy we know you'll love.
In these packets, we've done all the hard work for you & the meat has been fully shelled & de-veined for your convenience. Extremely versatile, the meat is ideal for use in ravioli or risotto's, great as tempura or fab when pan-fried or bbq'd.
